YOUTH CLINICS (U-6 to U-10)

One-Touch Soccer's youth clinics are designed to provide a fun, safe, and age-appropriate learning environment to promote your child's enjoyment of the game of soccer. Clinics consist of six or eight weekly sessions.

Each one-hour session will focus on:

  • Individual skill and technique development
  • Basic game understanding
  • Balance and coordination improvement
  • Individual creativity within team play
  • Emphasis on enjoying the game

YOUTH 6-v-6 LEAGUES

We offer Youth off-season indoor leagues for Club teams that want to stay together and play during the summer/winter, or for High School teams, church groups, or neighborhood or other organizations that want to play as a team.

The Winter 2011-12 season will start December 3rd and run through mid-February.
        Schedules:   
 U-10 BOYS     |     U-13 BOYS/GIRLS

Games will be played primarily on Saturdays and on Sunday afternoons/evenings, although some weeknight times may be offered based on individual team availability and/or preferences. We will work with teams as best we can on schedule conflicts and special requests.

Divisions will be offered for each of the following:
  •  U8 - coed
  •  U10 - boys and girls
  •  U12 - boys and girls
  •  U14 - boys and girls
  •  U16 - boys and girls
  •  High School - boys and girls

Each team will be guaranteed an eight-game season. Playoffs will only be played in divisions for which it is necessary to meet the minimum guaranteed number of games.  Every youth team is required to have an adult (minimum age 21 years old) on the bench to supervise the team. Failure to have this individual will result in a forfeit of the game.

YOUTH CAMPS

CHALLENGER SOCCER CAMP -- JULY 11-15, 2011

Challenger camp Challenger Soccer Camps provide players of all ages (3-13) and abilities with the rare opportunity to receive high-level soccer coaching from a team of international experts.

Each day includes individual foot skills, technical drills, tactical practices, small-sided games, coached scrimmages, and a daily tournament. Equally important, the Challenger coaching staff provides your child with lessons in respect, responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship and leadership.

Camp programs include a free ball and shirt and a free British Soccer jersey for on line registrations 45 days prior to camp!

ABOUT OUR STAFF:

Amy Smrcina, Director of Instructional Programs

Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Amy honed her soccer skills at the club level with Charlotte Soccer Club and eight years on the North Carolina ODP team. She continued her soccer career at Covenant College where she played for four years at the varsity level, serving as captain for two years and earning Appalachian Conference Player of the Year, NAIA Region XIII Player of the Year, and NAIA First-Team All-American honors her senior season.

Following the end of her competitive playing career, Amy followed her passion for soccer and began her involvement in coaching. Amy has been involved in coaching for almost 10 years and has been helping to develop young players at every age and skill level. Amy's coaching experience includes roles at Queens College, the McAlpine and WCWAA youth programs in the Charlotte area, Covenant College (junior varsity head coach; varsity assistant coach), and East Ridge Soccer Association in Tennessee.  Amy currently holds a National "D" License.
